Mmm, Grainey

Been ‘sperimenting with hand-drawn ink on birch plywood. They make a nice card?postcard? – I’m not sure what they are. I like how they come out, but they’re quite a pain to make. Next ‘speriment is to try using wood varnish to add a glossy sheen.

If All The World

After so many full moons passed by and the sketchbook laid await in its dire state of idleness, I finally defeated evil and broke the curse. I finished a drawing!

You guys have no idea how exhilarated I am. I haven’t drawn anything in such a loooong time, I almost forgot how it feels to create those tiny ink strokes [It’s theurapeutic! Really!]. And I tried, trust me I tried. I started at least 6 drawings in the past 9 months, none of them succeeded. So this drawing right here, albeit a small step in my artistic history and despite all the flaws and mistakes I made – for me it’s already a victory in itself.
